Southern Bistro Wine Dinner Supports Local Firefighters

Join us on September 11 for a fabulous wine dinner featuring the wines of Jax Vineyards paired with the culinary excellence of Southern Bistro's Executive Chef Justin Keith.  And 10% of the proceeds from this dinner will go to support the Sandy Springs Fire Department.

Jax Vineyards was founded in 1996 by brother and sister Trent and Kimberly Jackson in collaboration with their vintner "green thumb" father.  Over time the two saw an opportunity to buck the “en vogue” winemaking style of their day and focus on the unique terroir of their family vineyard.  They recruited cult Winemaker Kirk Venge to create balanced wines reflecting varietal character and a sense of place.   And now 15 years in, Kirk has reinforced their instinct that focus should always be on “sense of place” to understand the nuances that allow us to make great wine.

Dan Parrott, Jax Partner and CEO, will be there to talk about Jax Vineyards and their Y3 line of wines.  Chef Justin has crafted a four course meal to show off these balanced "true to varietal" wines that come from Sonoma and Napa AVAs.
